Looking at the Numbers

The highest day of the week was Sunday with a total of 19,700 steps, while the lowest day was Wednesday with 15,104 steps.

The total steps for the week were 112,923 which works out to an average of 16,131 steps per day across the week. This gives a total of 343,736 steps year to date.

Comments

The week has not been too bad in terms of walking. Although yes there are some lowish numbers on some of the days, it is not so much because I have not been walking. The challenge I find is that the Garmin Vivofit is uncomfortable on my wrist when the weather is hot. So I will try to achieve the steps and then take it off for the day. In some ways, this means that the figure might be a little inaccurate, but it tends to only be this way for a short period of the year.

In saying the above Wednesday and Friday did both seem like a real struggle to get the stops that I needed. I am unsure how some days it seems like an easy task to achieve what I need and others it just seems like no matter how much I walk there is always so much more work to get there.

The total steps for the week were 123,416 last year compared to 112,923 this year. While the average steps each day was 17,632 last year and this year it is 16,131. The year to date total was 372,844 last year compared to 343,736 this year. The year to date steps may have some variance does to the timing of the week in the year.
